Enabling Infrastructure creation through Partnerships...

Over the past few years, there has been dramatic growth in the infrastructure sector in India driven by fresh investment proposals, restructuring, corporatisation, and privatisation. Given the huge funding needs in infrastructure, there is a need for greater private participation in infrastructure.

IMaCS recognises the importance of the infrastructure sector as an engine for the growth of the Indian economy. IMaCS' Infrastructure Group assists Governments at the national, state and local levels, regulators, developers, urban local bodies, and lenders to assess project risks objectively and communicate these to various stakeholders.

Our Infrastructure Group is structured along the two sectoral dimensions of Transportation and Urban Infrastructure, each of which offers services across various functional areas. The Group has a core team of in-house consultants, an extensive database of on-call external experts, and partnerships with a range of collaborating institutions. We have also recognised the need for infrastructure development in many countries in the emerging markets, and have accordingly built our research, knowledge base, networks, and delivery mechanisms to work across the globe.

Our Infrastructure Group has accumulated substantial experience in areas relating to financial modelling and risk assessment, regulatory guidelines, contract structuring, concession agreements, payment and security mechanisms and structuring solutions for various infrastructure projects.

IMaCS' Infrastructure Group is thus well positioned to assist various stakeholders in the process of change in both the transportation and urban infrastructure sectors in India and other countries.
